How to pray an Emergency Novena

Have you ever found yourself in an emergency with no time to pray a full nine-day novena? When Mother Teresa faced urgent situations, she would pray an "Emergency Novena" - nine Memorares in petition, followed by a tenth in thanksgiving. This is also referred to as an Express or Flying novena. Similar to the rosary, you can count the prayers on your fingers, but using a chaplet makes the experience more focused and intentional.

Memorare:
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petition, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.

Amen.

I haven’t prayed this emergency novena yet, but I believe that God will come through for me as He always has. I’ll be praying it in a few and I’ll surely be back to give my testimony of what God is about to do for me.
