How to pray an emergency novena

Are you ever faced with an emergency and don't have time to pray a nine day novena? When Mother Teresa was facing an emergency situation she would pray an 'Emergency Novena' - nine Memorares in petition, then a tenth in thanksgiving. This is also known as an Express, or Flying novena. Like the rosary, you can use your fingers to count the prayers, but it is so much nicer using a chaplet.

Memorare:
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petition, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.

Amen.

St Teresa of Calcutta, pray for us.

Dear blessed mother Mary, I come to you with great faith and hope asking for your prayers over my family for unity and understanding and in particular, that you wrap your motherly arms around my daughter who is dealing with depression and mood disorder. Please intercede for her before your glorified son, Jesus Christ risen from the dead for healing, humility, patience, understanding, fear of God, peace and joy so she can be restored and renewed in Him our Lord and Savior.
    Amen!
