Have you ever found yourself in an emergency with no time to pray a full nine-day novena? When Mother Teresa faced urgent situations, she would pray an "Emergency Novena" - nine Memorares in petition, followed by a tenth in thanksgiving. This is also referred to as an Express or Flying novena. Similar to the rosary, you can count the prayers on your fingers, but using a chaplet makes the experience more focused and intentional.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petition, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.

Asking for millions of prayers, a mother accidentally ran over her 2 year old daughter with her riding mower and was airlifted to Children’s and is in surgery right now, still alive but in extremely bad shape. I’m asking everyone who has access to a prayer chain to please put this baby girl on that list ASAP and also prayers for her mother!
