Are you ever faced with an emergency and don't have time to pray a nine day novena? When Mother Teresa was facing an emergency situation she would pray an 'Emergency Novena' - nine Memorares in petition, then a tenth in thanksgiving. This is also known as an Express, or Flying novena. Like the rosary, you can use your fingers to count the prayers, but it is so much nicer using a chaplet.
Memorare:
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petition, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen.
St Teresa of Calcutta, pray for us.

Dearest Mother, the world that was perfect when God created it is weeping from the wounds that we have, and continue to, inflict upon it. I don’t know what to say or do but ask for your and your Divine Son’s intervention to our Heavenly Father for world leaders to show mercy and restraint so that we can all live in peace and harmony as He so lovingly wants us to.
